Insurance Rulebook
Every state insurance department publishes records about the companies it regulates: confirmed complaints, approved rate increases, who writes the business, and where policies are not being renewed. This site puts those public records in readable form, each number cited to its state source.
I am Dan Swenson, a data nerd who is also a Minnesota workers' compensation attorney and a city council member. I build these sites as a hobby to make public records, government rules, and license registries easy to find and use. The tools are free. The network pays for itself through disclosed referral links and a few optional paid guides.

Every figure on this site comes from a public record published by a state insurance regulator or the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, cited where it appears. Complaint indexes are computed differently by each state and are never comparable across states.
